Zero Tolerance Policy
At Mass Admirals, we are committed to fostering a positive, disciplined, and respectful environment for all players, coaches, and families. To uphold the integrity of our program, we enforce a Zero Tolerance Policy regarding conduct both on and off the ice.
1. Player Conduct
Every player represents the Mass Admirals and is expected to demonstrate respect, discipline, and accountability at all times.
- Disrespect toward coaches, teammates, officials, opponents, or spectators will not be tolerated.
- Any form of taunting, bullying, or unsportsmanlike behavior is strictly prohibited.
- Players are expected to give their best effort in practice and games, showing commitment to their development and the team.
- Social media activity must reflect positivity and sportsmanship—negative or inappropriate posts about teammates, opponents, officials, or the organization will result in disciplinary action.
2. Parent & Spectator Expectations
Parents and spectators play a crucial role in creating a positive and professional hockey culture.
- No coaching from the stands—let the coaches do their job.
- Respect officials, coaches, and players—verbal abuse, harassment, or negative interactions will not be tolerated.
- Encourage and support—negative energy has no place in our program.
- Any inappropriate conduct (in person or online) can result in removal from team events and facilities.
3. Coach Responsibility
Our coaches lead by example and are expected to maintain a high standard of professionalism and respect.
- Coaches will foster a competitive yet positive environment, ensuring every player has an opportunity to develop.
- There is zero tolerance for verbal or physical abuse of any player.
- Coaches will communicate openly and honestly with players and families while reinforcing program values.
4. Disciplinary Action
Failure to uphold these standards will result in disciplinary measures, which may include:
- Verbal or written warnings
- Suspension from practices or games
- Dismissal from the team in severe cases
